I'm looking to buy a very used Cayenne GTS probably a 2012/2013 model.

I assume such cars would have had the transfer case repaired. Once repaired are they now free from future transfer case problems or is it a case of continued replacement?

Apart from the transfer case are there any other key issues with this car?

Thanks

2 years or so ago, mine had the TC case replaced free of charge through goodwill at OPC Silverstone.

It was fine afterwards and apart from consumables the car was faultless. Probably the car I miss most of all I’ve owned.

My 2016 S diesel is on it's third xfer box but this one has now lasted 2 years. I understand that they identified the problems with these boxes as a faulty seal that let water in. Obvs now fixed.
