I was caught by a camera van at the end of January. NIP in the post soon after. I sent all the paperwork back, admitting to the offence.
That was three weeks ago. I’ve not heard anything back yet. It’s been a while since I last got busted, so I can’t remember what happens next.
My speed puts me in the speed awareness course bracket if that makes a difference.

Did you get, and keep, proof of posting?

No, but I’m going to wish I had!

I suppose the problem is that the time limit to do the speed awareness course is limited - I don't know if it's fixed or applies everywhere, but wife did one a few mths ago in Cheshire and the course had to be completed within 4 mths of the offence date.

In her case all the paperwork was very fast - literally a couple of days between each stage (car is registered to me).

OTOH a colleague got a NIP for 102 on the M25 a few yrs ago and never heard any more about it - and you'd think they'd prioritise speeds like that. He is a jammy bugger though.
