Hi guys/gals
Just placed an ad in the wanted section looking for a possible swap to a Cerb from my 5 litre Chim - Do Cerb owners ever think that way, or am I wasting my time?

happens now and again ie when one wants to move to a slightly cheaper car (value and esp running costs). Quite rare though, in the 8 yrs I have been hanging round TVR related chat grps etc I have seen 2 or 3 people trying to do this (albeit I think they generally go after a griff).

I think you may have some luck - only if there are more mad owners out there like myself. I would have considered it to run as a weekend car to remain in TVR land - the Cerb was too much of a beast for simple sunday cruising.

Got my M5 now instead of the Cerb, so I'll be looking for a Griffo or Tuscan probably next year to add to it.

Hmmmmm - not much chance it seems, judging by the response!
Still, took the Chim a run tonight and it felt awesome so wont be disappointed if nothing comes of it....

I did!

Swapped my Chim' 500 for a Cerb' 4.2.

Was the simplest solution, similarly priced cars. But, in hindsight I think my 500 was a far better car, in terms of condition, but the Cerb' will be a gem when I've finished with it.

It can happen, just may take a while to find the right 'deal'
