Audi C7 S6 Avant Disc & Pad replacement time

We've had our S6 Avant for approaching 3 years and the brake pad warning light has just come on. I changed the discs and pads all round not long after buying it for OEM parts but I recall the cost was eye-watering! So I'm looking for alternative discs and pads, with decent performance at a better price point, and wanted to know what my options are.
