I'd rather not sell my car for 6 moths than to let that happen

Had a guy turn up with a mechanic mate for a £1500 rx8 that I was selling.
Made him sign and date a sold as seen reciept on the understanding that any problem found afterwards was his.

I knew it was leaking as much oil as I was pouring in. hehe

Might go against the grain here but if you're on min wage and can only afford a "shed" is it unreasonable to have a thorough inspection?

Second hand car dealers are not exactly known for being paragons of virtue.

So very true. I’m looking round for a cheap fiesta for around £2k and the amount of ones I’ve seen that are dog rough but wanting really good money is unreal. I know I’m not gonna get a mint one with low miles etc but some are beyond reasonable condition. Feel sorry for the people who do end up buying some of them.

Are moths a known currency used in buying cars? Do x many moths equate to a butterfly?

Presumably he OK’d the inspection and had someone else not called would have been happy to take their money

If he OK’d it and let him do that he should have either held the car or pay for the guys inspection costs

Pretty low tbh

When it's a cropped Facebook post, I simply assume it never happened.
