Wife's away on business so I've got a free day, a fast car and a fuel card... meets; trackdays; shows; anything?

Get yourself down the M4 to Castle Combe for the bank holiday raceday

Ferrari, Ferrari Classic, Alfa Romeo, Fiats, plus the National Mobile Windscreens Saloons, Castle Combe Special GT's and the Melton Concrete Products Formula Fords.

Always a good meeting, last year the Ferrari Classic was very special. Not really on the edge stuff thanks to the replacement value if they get bent but some of the owners don't mind giving the cars a bit of stick on the straight bits.

Fingers crossed I'll be posted down at Tower. I haven't marshalled there in a while and it's great for action, especially in the FF1600 races. If the weathers nice I'll be there in the S so I might come and say hello at luchtime if I get the time. The cheeky little buggers have a habit of having the biggest accidents just before lunch and just before the end of proceedings. Last time out I was on Camp exit/Startline and we could see those flags all the way from the other side of the circuit.

Are you going to be in the paddock on the Sunday night PG? If so I'll come and pop my head round the door inbetween rounds at The Tavern.

Well, if you go to Oulton Park, that'll be a bloody long drive.

Well I can't let you down, can I! The Sag & Flag will be there like a beacon as usual.

Should see you all there as I'm entering the Fiat Challenge next season and have an invite with one of the teams.

No, I'm commuting from home, 45 miles away. Will be in the tavern after race, leafing through my (worn out) copy of racing driver excuses. Say hi anyway
