Dealer made me an offer back in June last year for my Vanquish (non S) which was to good to ignore, was looking for a Vanquish S for a number of months but most AM dealers have waiting lists.
Never used the rear seats in the Vanquish so went back to a Vantage and picked up last Saturday, been in storage for 2 years and only came out for the MOT and AM service so less then 4,000 miles.
It is a SSIII which I wanted as always use the paddles.
In the garage at the moment all wheels and under trays off ready for loads of Dynax on the subframe and other bits, then ceramic coating..
Hopefully back on the road mid March.

yummie, nice and rare I thought.
Relatively yes, but all Astons are rare really compared to most marques.Total V12V Roadster production numbers as follows:
109 V12V Roadsters (all manual)
363 V12VS Roadsters
29 V12VS AMR Roadsters
501 in total
Of the 392 V12VS Roadsters (incl AMR)
91 manual (dogleg)
301 SSIII
I'm afraid I don't know the breakdown of manual/SSIII split down for AMR and regular V12VS versions, I only know the totals as above.

Looks lovely. Which blue is it? It looks too dark to be cobolt but that could be the photography. Never used the rear seats in the Vanquish so went back to a Vantage and picked up last Saturday, been in storage for 2 years and only came out for the MOT and AM service so less then 4,000 miles.

ETA: might be worth asking the dealer to put a new battery in it. These cars like to be used more than they like to stand around, and a weak battery can cause a slew of warning messages on the dash that can take the edge off new ownership priapism.

The more lairy your colour the better, but sadly its the exterior paint only that counts not interior otherwise I would have long since made you the same offer!

Congratulations from a fellow SportshiftIII V12VSR owner! I have test driven the Vanquish S when they were launched at the time as I considered part exchanging mine for one. A really lovely car but the shorter wheelbase, big engine in a small car combination is what I prefer and I ended up keeping mine and got the Performance Pack installed which gave me the same engine spec as the Vanquish S.
I can’t see myself selling my car ever.
You will love it.
I’m also on the colourful V12 Vantage WhatsApp group which is well worth joining. A great bunch of like-minded enthusiasts!

Gents
Many thanks for the comments, I have always had black cars over the last 20 years and thought it's time for a change the blue is Zaffre.
New battery will be on order and possibly new tyres but they all have 7mm of tread dated June 2017, AM booklet (para 12.13) states to change them after 6 years but AM Timeless warranty states 10 years.
I will keep them this year and swap to Michelins come winter.
Just ordered all new bolts and fixings for the underneath as we all know AM does not do rust prevention, apart from these everything else looks like new.
