Went to this event yesterday - fantastic. Oldest motor sport venue in continual operation anywhere in the world - what an amazing sense of tradition.
The first event there was held on 12th August 1905 and they had a replica there yesterday of the Daimler that set the best time of the day at that first meeting.
Great atmosphere, great field of cars, including V12 D-type Auto Union and the V16 BRM - brilliant.
