I'm pretty sure I'm in the Ikigai category: I love doing what I'm paid for (I even do it as a hobby), and I'm good at it. Pretty sure the world needs what I do as well.
Care to share what that might be out of interest? The equipment I've got at home actually beats what I have at work (especially for electronics). But work gives me real-life challenges on an international stage that I would never dream to do in my spare time.

I didn't know this even though I'm a bit of a fan of Japanese, been there a few times. Thanks for sharing.
Company i work for organises events based upon this very principle but then it is a Japanese company so hardly surprising. There are a couple of books on the whole concept that are worth reading, if anyone can be bothered i'll dig out the titles and authors

Interesting - would you mind sharing the details of the events? Are they to explain the concept, or to help people find theirs?Gassing Station | The Lounge | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
