Edward G Robinson in Soylent Green, his death scene just beyond words, everyone knew he was dieing, everyone knew it was his last take just a whole life of acting brought to bear in a minute or two whilst bringing colour as an escape from a grey and drab world fitting perfectly into the film. He died shortly later.

Johnny Cash cover The Hurt, the song the video and the performer's life came together in one final moment, amazing. He was gone a few months later.

I hope I can be so creative when I know what is down the line.

A post script - The Travelling Willburys End of the Line video should be included with Roy Orbisons guitar sat in the rocking chair

More death porn,

Robinson and Cash did their best work when they wasnae deiing, I'm sure we'll all agree on that.

We might well agree if we knew what you meant.

Freddie Mercury's performance in the "Days Of Our Lives" video.

And I look, and I find, I still love you

Best? Maybe. Most poignant? Definitely.
