Are these going to replace the entry level speakers? Has anyone heard them, they are not released in the UK I don't yet but not sure if USA has them?

Looks like it. Will not be chuffed if they stop support as I've got three Play One's.

was about to buy a pair of Five's, the larger of the new ones doesn't look Five-sized to me, but I think I will wait anyway

I bet they’ll still work well in 10 years from now !

I purchased an Era 100 at Christmas, for office room. Impressed so far, nice to be able to use airplay too, for example when watching videos on ipad etc.
Also a good way to get airplay into my existing system (5 play ones around the house). Play 1s still working fine.
I should have bought another when they were only £159 on Amazon, generally £199.
I just realised that you can get 15% off on the Sonos store via app, if you have play 1. Upgrade programme, you still keep the play 1.
So ordered another @ £169 to make a stereo pair of Era 100s.
I usually stream Tidal, but recently added Windows laptop into the Sonos network with 20Gb of music, good to have & that is also working solidly .

Thanks RR. I have a mix of Plays around the house. Mostly the original but a Play 1 Gen 2 in the kitchen which is great with Amazon voice control.

On my desk I have a pair of original 1s. I ve lost two in the past year from the drivers going, but these must be 8 years old.

Anyways I looked at the upgrade offer and have 30% off from an old Connect i threw away last year as it wouldn’t, erm, connect.

With the discount it s £270 for a pair of Era 100s. Perfect for my work desk as a stereo pair.
