There is a lane I use daily to and from work just outside Gloucester that has a layby which is often used for disposal of the odd sofa, fridge, caravan etc.

Yesterday they went one better with a complete static caravan!!

Anyone seen anything bigger fly tipped?

We had something near our house. Large static caravan dumped on a public grassy area, but just happened to be opposite the local travellers camp.

I wonder who it was

Likewise, the local travelers (the ones who called PC Andrew Harper), used to leave caravans in the woods about half a mile from their camp on a regular basis.

Since the murder of PC Harper they've all moved out and the regular drop off has stopped.

No, they haven't been moved on. They've been rewarded with a complete detox and renovation of their site. It's taken over 2 years already, 2 years of bliss..

Not fly-tipping, but plonking a caravan on public land and claiming it as yours:
