Does anyone have any recommendations on positivity videos to fall asleep to on YouTube? The positive thinking type to listen to as we drift off to sleep?

No idea if they work, but would be interested to find out!

Thank you!

There's some sleep help stuff on BBC sounds you might find useful. Not sure how positivity-focused it is, though.

Not sure about positive, but there are plenty of ASMR vids on youtube. Most presented by easy on the eye young ladies as well. Apparently.

Also Bob Ross joy of painting should send you off.

I listen to this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OTih3fwoA2I&li... when I feel I need a pep talk. It’s not traditional mindfulness but works for me. Probably not best for sleeping tbh and has some potty mouthery in it.

Headspace https://www.headspace.com/ is AWESOME for mindfulness though and have sleep modules. You might be able to get a sub free through your employer.

Is the aim to get you off to sleep, or to change your state of mind?

I suffer with insomnia occasionally and didn't find videos had any effect. What did was the military sleep method of relaxing and falling asleep.

I actually worked it out for myself before realising it was a thing. The only difference is I work from the feet up rather then the head down.

Not a positivity type based video, but kitckski of this parish has some very good videos about fixing various old Citroens on his UPnDOWN YouTube channel

I watch them all in my spare time, but they are interesting to listen to when dropping off as they are well narrated etc, been using them this week!

This is a compliment not a criticism kitchski!

Not sure if it's under the same heading but i've been exploring brown and pink noise to sleep to... seems to be working, falling asleep faster and feel like im having more quality sleep.

Might all be in my head, but whatever it is, i'm winning smile

Failing that, 10 hours of this might do it?

Just type in waves and sleep to Spotify or your favourite media app and hey presto , loads of easy listening sounds to drift you to sleep ...... Or make you want the loo ! They even have a timer so it switches off after a certain time.

Thank you all for your replies.

Goal is to change mindset “subconsciously”, and to help the Mrs. fall asleep and get good quality sleep. Cause if stress is our own business, so usual ownership stuff.

Thinking a change in mind set will help and have a positive knock on effect, while working on the solutions to our problems.

I found a Paul McKenna one for free on YouTube as well, but happy to subscribe to, say, Audible if there are better sources on there?
