Argh.

I have to be at Canary Wharf next Wednesday with a return train from Kings Cross at 1800.

What can I expect of taxi/Uber availability considering the tube is not running.

Elizabeth Line is running, so you are home safe

30 minute walk to Kings Cross from Farringdon - that's what I would do

Also the black cabs will be out in force, so from Farringdon it'll be easy, any whiff of a train strike now and most office workers are nowhere near London post Covid, you could always get wherever you are working to pre-book you a cab, just be leave extra time as roads will be busy

Walk to over the road to St Pancras and get the thameslink to Farringdon, or thameslink to Blackfriars and the boat…

Loads of parking in Canary Wharf if your tempted to drive..

Nb edit, make sure your ticket says all london stations rather than specifically King X, then the thameslink is included.

Yes. But no, because strikes are now suspended.

Thanks all.

EL to Farringdon is the plan.

Frustratingly, having just gone to book my hotel stay availability is far less than what it usually is.

The RMT rail operators' strike on Thursday 16th March is not suspended.

The RMT Network Rail strike that Thursday is suspended - so signalling, infrastructure is ok. The chaps who drive the trains and inspect tickets etc are still striking.

The London Underground strike (I believe also RMT) is on Wednesday 15th March.
