Track day tyre pressures?

I'm doing a track day at Brands on thursday, and was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on what the tyre pressures should be for wet or dry track use?

I've had fun with this one myself. After playing about with varying approaches, i now leave them at road pressure ( 26psi on mine ) & let the additional heat build up bring the tyre up to the required level ( about 30psi ). If a very hot day i do have to let some out, best to check periodically. Hope this helps

Is there normally somewhere (like in the pits) that you can leave things like that and jerry cans, that sort of thing?

More & more TDOs are now reserving pitlane garages on a first come first served basis (at a cost of course). I think it's worth it for £25 for the day to store everything, particularly if its raining & necessary to tinker on open top cars etc.

If they have all been reserved when you get there, you'll usually find someone willing to let you store a few minor things. Best to get to the circuit early though & see if there's an unreserved garage but remember that if it is inclement weather, it's only good manners to give space to the open top cars (Caterfields etc) first etc.
