Can't understand why you'd want to kill a beatiful animal like a leopard, just to take off its skin and try and make it look realistic??

Exactly, the guy who was hunting had his priorities so screwed up to say that he thought it was great to take an animal which was dead and to bring it back to life, after he shot it!!

Was I the only one to hear duelling banjos in my head when they showed the visitors to the world championships?

A brilliant documentary though. Good mix of different approaches to the same competition. No single agenda/message by the makers.

I felt the same.

Tried to be balanced, but it was hard not to be sickened by the redneck yank who went to South Africa to kill the Leopard (he got a Lion too).

I wasnt expecting it to be so graphic. What a waste. Those animals (especially the leopard) are beautiful.
Shame the pride of Lions didnt pounce on him and rip the tosser apart.

The end results are amazing and it obviously takes much skill.

I was virtually incapacitated when that guy switched that gabba onto his stereo and started gimping around in front of his stuffed birds.

So many quotables.

"I can't wait to mount a horse"

"This year, I'm going to do a dog"

"I blew the top of his lung off, daddy. Coooool!"

I wondered all the way through which of them would secretly like the chance to have a go at a human, at least half I think. Creepy, creepy people.

Well, personally I would happily shoot the fer with the rifle who thought that shooting a beautiful animal was great..... I only saw the bit with the antelope, which I think he didn't cleanly kill so began to cut it's throat out.... What a

I had to turn over....
