Malicious ex husband and speeding fine

Hi, I’m after some advice please. I currently feel like a sitting duck waiting for my ex husbands next move to try to destroy me. I’m cautious of the territory I’m on here as I’m guessing it’s mostly men but he’s one of those that give men a bad name I’m afraid! Let me set the scene…..he’s Like an angry terrier or put it this way he’s a 5ft 4 solicitor!
My question is….. should I be expecting to appear in front of a magistrate to prove I wasn’t driving or would all the documents go to him as the registered keeper?
Let me share a little more about the fail to furnish accusation.
He took the car back from me (it was gifted for my birthday) the day before the speeding offence happened. My police officer brother witnessed him collecting the car. . The car was registered in his name so was the first to receive the fine. He then signed a declaration to say that it was me driving with my corresponding address.
I received the prosecution letter and i submitted evidence to the police proving it wasn’t me driving.
It’s 3 months on and I haven’t heard anything else, does that mean that I am now excluded from the allegation or should I still be expecting to receive something from the court?
What a toad! The speeding is just the tip of the iceberg for his vindictive behaviour.
I’m sure everything will workout well in the end.My question is….. should I be expecting to appear in front of a magistrate to prove I wasn’t driving or would all the documents go to him as the registered keeper?

He’s already under investigation with the solicitors regulator about his conduct so it certainly would be the icing on the cake but he’s slippery and worms his way out of things. The regularity body would only be interested if he was to be seen to act dishonestly . But will I ever get to find out because I don’t know if I’ll be needed for court?
How did the regulator find out about his conduct, out of interest? It's not the accused who has to prove their innocence; the prosecution has to prove the offence.
Usually in these situations there's photographic evidence of some kind. In the image taken by a speed camera from behind a car they're often able to zoom in on the side mirrors which can show a pretty clear image of the driver's face.
If the husband simply says he made a mistake over the exact date the car changed hands he's away and laughing. Proving that his error was malicious would be an uphill struggle.
