This photo background in car adverts...
Discussion
This might seem a really strange question, but I'm seeing lots of adverts for used cars, where the car has been 'cut around' in photoshop (or similar) and stuck on this background. Initially I saw one dealer with all their stock advertised like this, and thought I'd keep clear - none of the vehicles looked in very good condition, and I sort of linked the poor image cutting-outery with a specific dodgy dealer.
Looking at cars again now, it seems that LOTS of dealers are using this exact same method, with the exact same background image.

Is it:
1. Some app that dealers are using to automate their advertising process which does this
2. Images from the auction house that they're buying the cars from
3. Dealers all copying each other
I suspect it's 1, but it doesn't have look dodgy!

It's 2, the British Car Auctions standard software background; they're lazy ass dealers flipping s
t from BCA who can't even be arsed to take their own photos, or want to get it listed ASAP without any prep.
Enjoy giving them a 30%+ margin for doing sod all. I really wouldn't give business to traders like that, you might as well buy at auction/private yourself because they're adding almost no value.

You're a bit early, it's normally asked every year in November!

Good to know! Yes, it looks dodgy as hell anyway!

Exactly how I feel about it, they know they can sell without taking decent photos
