Help in identifying Aston Martin branded watch
Discussion
Gents,
I have acquired this sweet little 34mm dial watch, branded Aston Martin on the face, backplate and clasp but can’t find out anything about it. Pretty little ladies watch fron early 90’s maybe?
Does anyone have a recollection of a promotional giveaway or corporate gift which may add some provenance to this watch, or anything to help?

I fear 'watches of distinction' are just trying it on
You could get a good Tag for that money
a good Tag being the oxymoron that it is
I fear you may be right. That website has a number of 'interestingly' priced oddities in amongst the Rolex chaff. Check out the Laco, and the gold quartz Omega. I'm no expert, but... You could get a good Tag for that money

I’m interested in why you think Tag Heuer don’t make good watches? Apart from brand snobbery that is. I have a number of watches of varying prices and my Aquaracer is far better quality than my Seikos (which are cheaper) but not quite as nice as my Omegas (which are more expensive).
For their price point I think their quality is as good as can be expected.

They do some odd things. I have a number of watches of varying prices and my Aquaracer is far better quality than my Seikos (which are cheaper) but not quite as nice as my Omegas (which are more expensive).

Quartz Aquaracer with a €10 Ronda module and a plastic movement spacer, for £1200.
The whole ‘in-house’ movement thing a few years ago, that was actually a reworked Seiko chronograph.
Plus the Tag boutique in London is the only watch shop that employs security to keep customers inside.
I’m not anti-Tag by the way, my wife has a lovely 1994 SE/L with the eta 2892 movement and likes it.

I used TAG as they inhabit the £995 price point of the original story
Enjoy your Aquaracer

This one?

Welll, its 18K solid gold.
It has the same case shape as my latest acquisition, the Electroquartz f8192, but not the same movement.
My watch has a Beta-21, the worlds first mass produced quartz wristwatch movement. Historically & horologically its a pretty significant piece. I have the stainless steel version, which retailed for three times as much as Omega's most expensive pre-quartz watch, the Speedmaster. In dollars, the Speedy was about $200, the stainless steel Electroquartz was $760 and the an 18K gold Electroquartz a whopping $2200.

But this is a Megaquartz, not an Electroquartz. It was even more expensive. I don't know how much more. The Omega 1510 movement was the most accurate quartz moveme3nt available. It is still the most accurate non-thremally compensated watch movment ever produced. So arguably even more significant horologically.
Oh, and this one has the stardust aventurine dial. They genuinely only made 100 to 200 watches in this combination.
Here's another for sale in Switzerland: https://www.plus-ultra.ch/en/watches/omega/constel...
The swiss one is £1500 cheaper, but for that you get a leather strap in place of the 18K gold bracelet.
I mean, its really blingy. Even I'd struggle not to feel self conscious wearing it. But given a straght choice of £11K for that or £11K for a generic sub from Rolex, I know which of the two options I would consider better value for money.
Your opinions may of course vary.
In which case, you are wrong!

Fair enough BrokenSkunk, I stand corrected. And would agree, I'd have it over a Rolex, I love a bit of left field bling! https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/334787023357?mkcid=16&a...
No real info
But this looks like a pretty bashed up Gents version of the same watch
