Can anyone please give me a clue as to how to turn the above marked item OFF via a Group Policy.

We are running a Windows 2003 Server and Win XP on the workstations. The workstations involved are disabled from Internet access via a group policy and I think this is causing the problem :

Autocad 2005 based products don't seem to load correctly unless the network cable is removed whilst loading. The above tick box seems to be the cause.

Any assistance, much appreciated.

Maybe find out what reg. key it sets, and just do that via GP? Most IE settings are easy keys but if its not obvious you could use 'ntregmon' or similar to find it.

Surely it'd be easier to script the disabling of the network card - and then turn it back on upon installation?

If you were real clever you could do it all in one script - network card and installation....

Oh, I rememeber the days of AutoCad support - Bentley Microstation products were so much easier to use...

Do you still have to arse about with the registry to allow users to use the AutoCad app without getting error messages?
