Sadly not Valentino Rossi, but me, on my Ninja. I positioned a mate by the side of the road and then rode past him to see if I really was leaning as far as it felt I was - it would appear not!! LOL

Anyone else got shots of them on the move?

You need to get your thigh on the seat to get max angle of lean, Ala hanging your ass off the seat, this will allow you get over more, Left thigh righthanders and vice versa for t'other...
Works for me anyway...
You also look like you're fighting the bike, your body is in a good position, apart from not enough lean with the thigh, but look at your head, its almost vertical...
Suggest you find a nice big Island and go round and round and round and round, gaining confidence as you go and try adjusting your head position so that it reflects the lean of the bike, I.E your head should be in line to your tyres, not bent at the top...
BIG car parks work for this as well...

I went out last night and tried:
a)Turning my head with the angle of lean
b)Getting my arse off the seat and hanging off
Results;
for a) I found that I just couldn't do it, felt like I was looking at the world standing on my head, so ill continue looking where I want to go I think.
b)My god that bike turned quick!! I didn't get a chance to really sling it on it's side as I was on unfamiliar corners and I didn't have sliders on anyway. Good tip though Hughesie/Kitty, ill give it a better go when it stops raining!!

Kitty Blade is still for sale
Dave - if you don't do the Keith Code 'Art of Cornering' school then try and read the books (beware of the septic terminology though!).
I struggled for years with getting my knee down until I was 'observed', I'd been 'locking' an arm and my body position was too high up, my knee was sticking out at right angles instead of sliding forward and round.... once you've sussed it, it's surprisingly easy and feels like your hanging off less when you get used to tucking in and getting your head down (they tell you to get your eye line somewhere round your screen/mirrors). Anyway - it helped me & now I can get both knees on the deck effortlessly.
X
P.S. Do ya like my pic?

Very cool pic
When cornering hard I do tend to tuck myself right in, with my torso on the tank, eye looking over the mirror.
Sadly thought I don't have the funds for a Superbike School. I have read 'a twist of the wrist', though it was last year when I was riding a Bandit so i'll read some of it again!

Have you got any BIG industrial estates round your way, they have BIG deserted islands at night, you really need a nice continuing circle to practise on, shifting your weight a bit more each time when you get comfortable at one angle, this will get you used to the turn in off the bike and you'll soon get your knee down...
Lefties are a bit more difficult and is just confidence in the bike...
