I'm going through my no music stint and heard my new favourite song today.

The smiths - Heaven knows I'm miserable.

I really need a new playlist so fire away. What's your new favourite song?

Sonic Youth - Bull in the Heather
Simple Minds - Seeing Out The Angel
Autechre - Lowride
Three very different songs from very different genres.

Go your own way - Fleetwood Mac. Or landslide. Or or or many others.

Boys of Summer - Don Henley. Or Takin it easy….Eagles

Glory Days - Springsteen

I won’t back down - Tom Petty

Here comes the Sun - Beatles.

Nope could be one of many more. All about the mood. And they come and go. But probably Fleetwood Mac.

Been learning three tunes for guitar over the last few weeks, all of which are very satisfying:-

Walk On By : Dionne Warwick

Killing Me Softly : Roberta Flack

Sleepwalk : Santo & Johnny

Good call - thats one of my favourites by them. If you want some more recommendations then starting with any of the Susanne Sundfor collabs would be a good start, like:

I didn’t see ‘new’ in the title when I replied.

Of recent years, ‘Call on me’ by Starley.

smile James have done about a half dozen songs that are amongst my faves and I never get tired of.

La Ritournelle by Sebastien Tellier was on a 2004 album but is a tune that I didn't hear until years after. It's now a definite "top 10" for me.
