Loose Bonnet Hinge

Hi all,

I recently noticed that the nearside bonnet hinge pin has come loose in it's fibreglass seating!! I've seen a few posts previously about quick simple fixes involving epoxy and the like.

I may not get round to this for a couple of weeks so my question is as follows.... is there any problem with leaving it as it is for the time being?? I suspect it has been like it for a few weeks I can move the bonnet a bit on that side when it is closed but it doesn't feel as if it is likely to fly off.

You should be OK, had this on mine gradually got worse. So bonnet off (easiest way) prop up on side squeeze in the epoxy araldite and allow to cure. Re-assemble bonnet.
