996 bike carrier

in an effort to get fit, have just splashed out on a mountain bike. now all i need is a bike rack to get me to those mountains!

Any ideas where i can get one to fit my pre facelift '996' and what cost? i hope it's not gonna cost more than what i paid for the bike!

Cost me about £300 for the roof bars and about £100 for the bike rack from the OPC. Although you can get Thule bars to fit the OPC rack for about £65. I also had to have some mods to the mountain points that cost another £100 ish. They should have been done under routine factory mtce apparantly but mine weren't despite the OPC history.

Expensive but they are quality bars and secure.
