Right then, back to work tomorrow, earlies, leaving at 0600 for 15 miles of motorway.
Dilemma...
1. Do I grab my knackers in my hand and take the TVR. Which, although having had a few blasts isn't fully pressure tested yet. If it breaks down on the motorway it will be within roadworks blocking a running lane, which, is a trifle dangerous.
2. Take the 16 foot long shed that if it breaks down will stop all moving traffic.

Tempted to take the tivver, but bits of me are twitching a bit.

Do I stop being a girls blouse and get my foot down in the tvr or wimp out and take the volvo. :banghead:

Guess it's how much I trust my spanner work.

Take the Tiv and avoid the motorway, there must be a more pleasant route even if it's longer.

Its just a ford granada in disguise so its bullet proof (ish) take the TVR.... If it breaks down people will just think oh its a TVR they always break down.... which they don't (or at least the old ones don't... just the new ones that blow up!!)


Have faith....... and leave a bit earlier just in case

Makes sense really. No point in spending all that time doing it up to sit it in the drive.
Unfortunately can't take an alternative route, that's even worse.

I know how you feel. SCH3 was my first longish run since getting the S3. It wasn't my spanner work that I wasn't trusting but a previous owners. In the end it ran like a charm Go for it, you know it makes sense.

Just thought I would add my 2 penneth worth here... TAKE THE TIV! I had to drive mine back from Hinkley to Leeds the day I bought it and had only driven it for 10 mins before that.. Have faith my son.... You know it makes sense .


p.s. I wish I could take mine to work everyday but I cant get all my tools and stuff in it so have to use the dreaded french van .. Anyone seen an S with a trailer attached??????
