Sudden influx of Facebook friend requests - What's going on?

Does anyone know what's going on here?

Having not had a friend request on Facebook for years, I've had 7 or 8 requests arrive over the last couple of days. All from mid-20s attractive women, often proudly displaying their key assets. The profiles look obviously fake.

What is the scam here? What do they do if you accept the request?

I have had similar on Instagram....attractive 20-30 year old woman start folowing my account then message me saying they want to be friends, I just delete them

Stop giving the Hookers yoyr real name. Then they wont find you on facebook

You don't get them if you tighten up your settings.

I never get friend requests from young women with big assets

Loads on LinkedIn as well from a business perspective.

Apparently it starts with "Looking to learn from a leader, seeking mentor, just want to connect as we have mutual links, etc" and then they slowly build rapport and start to gain inside intelligence.
