well not quite,On the way back from the Growl on Sunday a (i think it was a) DB9 pulled out a car in font of me at a roundabout in MK.
It gave it some to the next roundabout where I caught it up, he must have known I was there as coming off the next roundabout he gave it more johnny large potatoes:yikes: so did I :bounce: Kept up with him pretty well excellerating upto a certain mileage,surprised myself.Although he was starting to pull away at an undisclosed speed. I caught up with him at the next roundabout as he was turning right and had a car in front of him. Gave him a toot and a thumbs up, he oblidged with a toot also. Was fun to compare them and I think i may have surprised Him :hehe:

Did the same to an XK8-R Coupe(the supercharged one) earlier today on the A272. Yee hah!

He wasn't hanging around, but was certainly not being stupid, just driving briskly. However I was able to surge past on a long straight in 2nd/3rd. Think I caught him napping a bit, TBH.

I gave him a wave. For some reason, he only used one of his fingers when he waved back...

I had a play against a DB9 going around the Heathrow perimeter road, it was the first car I have come up against that i could actually hear above my own at full throttle...they do sound good.
I got shamed the following day by a Lambo G...something on the M4 Jeez they accelerate quick.

Well spotted on the spelling, you missed the grammar though, jockeys (plural) does not require an apostrophe.

Judging from the posts above. It looks like someone has been in the oven for a good old roasting !!! I would say that roast is well done !!

PS Are they really Viper stripes on the 350, or has someone simply drove over it on their scooter. They really do look like skid marks to me.

About two weeks ago I was overtaken on the A3 by a Merc Maclaren SLR - (probably out of the factory at Woking). No massive speeds (honest!!) but hell its can move and made the Cerb look quite ordinary. Sounded wicked too as it went by - the side exhausts are just about ear level.

To be fair, the SLR is not that much quicker than our Tiv's for 300k more. It's all down to how much the driver want to push it and their capabilities. An SLR only started to pull on me at over X35, and then not that much, and cornering we were equal. Put a different driver in and the story may have been different...who knows. Don't underestimate them, but don't overestimate them either!
