What is it with car dealers?

Just casually browsing and came across this ad:
TRULY STUNNING EXAMPLE OF THIS OUTSTANDING PRESTIGE ESTATE CAR FINISHED IN STUNNING TOPAZ BLUE METALLIC WITH BEAUTIFUL RED LEATHER INTERIOR. MASSIVE SPECIFICATION INCLUDES...
Honestly, why? What's wrong with just stating the facts? Why do I have to read through the endless drivel to understand what it is he's selling? Why is it all in caps?

It’s painful isn’t it. I’m looking for a winter shed & I didn’t realise how bad ads could be.
There’s a Mazda 6 on AT for 3949 where the ad states you must be brief on the phone, you mustn’t text or email as it isn’t monitored & no supplementary details of the car are available. How on earth he sells anything I have no idea!

This seller is one of many on eBay at the moment with classified ads at ridiculously cheap prices.
Take a look at the seller's other items.
Out of curiosity I contacted a different seller about a far too cheap classified advert and suddenly the seller was in Scotland and the car was in the Midlands. There was an expectation that I would buy it unseen and pay by PayPal or that a transport company would deliver it after I had paid a deposit.
All of these scammers seem to have the same style of advert text as the one referred to by the OP, just a solid block with no line breaks.

Regardless of whether it's a scam or not, it's besides the point. The style of ad with words such as stunning, example, outstanding, prestige, beautiful, etc. It's complete drivel. I want to know the spec. I really couldn't give a st about how many adjectives you can fit into a paragraph.

Is a scammer likely to be accurate? Obvious bait, it's worth double what the asking price is. That seller's account has been compromised, 166 vehicles, although it's a better effort than putting an email address in one of the photos. You could wind them up a bit for sport. Mr Squarekins said:

Haven’t really got a problem with the ad in caps but I’ve got a massive problem with bright red leather in a blue car.
Who specced it originally, Stevie Wonder?
Superman?Who specced it originally, Stevie Wonder?
Not right in a Merc though.
Disclaimer: no trolling intended or implied, apologies if my sense of humour offends.

The same car is now advertised with exactly the same photographs and text by a different seller in Manchester! acme said:
