Please excuse my ignorance regarding this model, but do they all have power steering as standard?

Not all. Look to check if there is a fluid tank on the off side of the plenum chamber, also look down between the radiator and the front cover of the engine, the rack should be visible, and by the steering column end you should see some pipes coming off.

All depends if you want the wife to drive it...........
