I posted a picture a while ago taken at the World Super Bikes at Brands Hatch. I've managed to get time to have a look through the rest and wondered what people would make of these two?

Any advice or opinions appreciated.

Thanks

Very nice. I used to get some good shots at the WSB from the inside of Surtees. Haven't been for a couple of years since I sold my CBR600. Is it still a big crowd?

Technically they look spot on to me, though I think a more 'widescreen' crop would suit the subject better.

Trackside,

My normal trips to Brands are for cars but as I've got a season ticket I thought I'd give WSB a try. One of the things that struck me was the massive crowd which must have been the biggest I've ever seen there. It was very refreshing to see that amount of interest in a race at Brands when it was only a couple of years ago that there was a rumour of a possible sale to a property developer.

Great shots!

Where were you standing - on the run up hill from Paddock Hill bend?

I'm at Brands for the A1 series in September and will be trying to find some "fence free" shots. Not been to Brands for a while so any info you can give will be appreciated.

Thanks,

In the centre of the circuit at Druids (go over the bridge on the run up the hill). Also on the inside of Surtees and then, if it's run on the full GP circuit, most places out in the country around Hawthorns, Westfield, Dingle Dell (Sheenes now?) and Stirlings. In fact anywhere apart from the main Indy circuit section!

No PA system from Surtees to Clearways though...

Thanks for the info Trackside.

The A1 series is using the full GP loop. I've not seen that bit of the circuit before in the flesh so will use the Saturday practice / qualifying sessions to walk round the whole track.

The pictures were taken at Hawthorn bend and most places on the GP loop do not have too much fencing in the way. I'll be at the A1 GP then the following day driving the GP circuit in my Caterham on a track day, so hopefully I will get time for more photo's
