Both 05 CV8 and VXR have the same bonnet.

You can fit the 05 bonnet to the 04 car.

Hello Bignige,
You will find Rob 78 has had this done to his car, i think by picador they made a good job,it has a better fit than some factory bonnets. He has some pics on the sight if you search a bit.

Yup as P7VXR says I have to 2005 bonnet on a 2004 model Monaro.

If you can't find the pics on this site then drop me an e-mail ( Robjames@blueyonder.co.uk ) & I will send some on to if you.

Just browsing the posts and seen this price (£1200) for the 2 scoops bonnet. I got a quote last week from Lea Valley motors for £525 for the bonnet. Surely it doesn't cost another £675 to spray and fit???????

Jeff.

I believe it's 2 days work to spray and paint matching exactly isn't easy, especially if red I think.
You may have also been quoted ex-vat, dunno.

£1200 can buy a lot extra pace rather than face!!

....and what is so wrong about looking like a Calibra. As P47 says. Save your money and go get some mods done. Car looks fine in standard (ahem non-US) form.

The ex VAT price of the bonnet is £525, to that u have to add the cost of the nostrils (inner and outer), linings and trim clips, to that there is painting etc and removal of old bonnet and refit and lining up of new one, then VAT
