I know it’s not been much cop well since Lovejoy left but sad to see such an iconic show of my youth come to an end. Some of the gags in the old days were great

I was friends with 'The Gooner in the Gallery's' father.

Sadly, Gooner passed away a few years ago and at the funeral I met Tim Lovejoy. Not a good day for a chat.

I have had some conversations with him on a few occasions on social media. Seems a great chap.
