2006 Volvo V70 2.4 Ocean Race.

I have posted on the Volvo thread, but no harm in a little duplicity.

Replacement for my ageing 2006 A6 Allroad, is a slightly older V70 with 49,000 miles from new. New tyres and a Timing Belt/Pump as a precaution, but other than that it barely feels run in. A conscious decision to remain analogue.

I had a V8 XC90 Ocean Race edition... one of my favorite cars.

I had one of these, an Auto 170 bhp. If you don't mind ste mpg it is a great cruiser car, heavy, not really dynamic and compared to diesels probably not worth it with tax and mpg, but it you want petrol worth a shout.

Mines’ an Auto 170. £93 to brim the tank and then driven to the South Netherlands from Worcestershire. It’s still showing 170km fuel range, so MPG isn’t that bad at all. I drive about 6000 miles a year, so i won’t be going back to diesel… albeit i do miss the shove of the twin turbo V6 3.0 litre Allroad (but not the tax at £550 a year versus a reasonable £295 for the Volvo)

Ref ‘analogue’. controls that are not touch screen controlled or accessed via an app.
