Electric PAS Speed Sensing

Morning all,

Has anyone tried to integrate the speed sensing for an Electric PAS Setup into the Speed Transducer/Splitter Box, rather than having a Pot?

Yes I just spliced into the speedo signal so now have speed sensitive steering , what kit are you using ?

Corsa, all works, but with a pot, just seems a bit.............meh.

Must be a better way!

I've been working on an alternative speed converter box, could probably add a frequency-to-voltage converter depends on what kind of signal the power steering is expecting.

Hi Hans, yes the plan is to make it available to others. I'm testing it in my car for now but the TVR is an electrically challenging environment with ignition noise etc.

What questions did you have ? It might be easier to email me rather than hijack this thread.
