At 42 this is my 80th car. My 4th E91 but I have had lots of cars in between them.
It’s at 68k miles. In pretty good stock condition but I plan a few modifications.
My first LCI, it’s an auto N54.
I have an EK9 Civic Type R for changing gears and was specifically after an auto for a daily car.
Fresh grade 4.5 Jap import so well optioned. I think it’s only missing Bluetooth from the options available for the E9x range. If you’ve ever owned an E9x BMW you may be aware how hit and miss the owners optioned their cars. Ordering individual leather and not having it heated always blows my mind!

My e91 line up. It’s one of my favourite car designs but that is more sentimental to me for various reasons than anything else

That's a lovely car to have as a daily alongside your EK9 It’s at 68k miles. In pretty good stock condition but I plan a few modifications.

I'm fortunate enough to have owned an EK9 in my youth and it's one of the few cars that I really, REALLY miss!
Where have your sourced your E39 from; was it the Japanese import specialist in West Yorks by any chance; I've watched a few of their cars in the past, they had an E61 550i that was of interest to me but it sold a few days before I was going to go across and view it!

That looks very nice. I didn’t know you could get the original roof rails on the LCI model, thought they were all the flush type. Enjoy.
Flush rails were added for the 2010 LCI update. I have a 2009 lci so retrofitted the flush rails.2008 was the only year for lci and n54 combo.
Helix I followed your old e46 a while ago, good to see your in an e91!
I had planned on swapping out the walnut trims, I’ve seen a few people talk about them in the past about how they grow on you and look better in real life, I was sceptical but I swear now it’s true! But here are a couple of photos for everyone else to think they look awful!

Looks grand; I really like the E91.
I wanted one but ended go with a coupe because all of the petrol tourings had a pretty poor spec; no xenon’s or heated seats for example.
Mine came with the wood trim, but I wasn’t a fan with the backs leather so swapped it for the brushed aluminium. The wood wouldn’t have worked with the red leather that I ended up fitting anyway.
For CarPlay, i fitted an Andream screen. It was £245 and works really well. The resolution of the screen is much improved and it’s easy to switch back to the stock menu.

I have a 2011 lci N54!2008 was the only year for lci and n54 combo.
Love the walnut, had that with the lemon in an E91 and it looked way better than the aluminium.
