Exactly the same as with the National circuit. Avoid the gravel.

Brake so the car is on the left of the circuit the marshall`s post on the LHS will give you a guide as to where to brake. Turn in from the extended tarmac / circuit exit on the LHS, a late turn in. Late apex on RHS but don`t clip the curb and then on the gas down the hill, if you get it right you will be on the gas before the apex, let the car drift out to the left and what ever you do don`t lift off or brake going down the hill. (You think the nose of the car will dig into the track but it won`t !!), try not to run over the exit kerbs on the left, (it is only a track day), then keep on the power and look for Druids at the top of the hill.

Have fun

link below is a few laps around the newly revised Brands GP circuit, there are two corners that have been altered which basically makes them slower {safer}, I found slow and deep into the corner then a late apex seemed to work best in a 911..

I managed to get a couple of passenger rides in a Caterham R400 & a sorted Elise both on slicks which did not require anything other than flat and a bit of opposite lock to correct the oversteer on the same corners it made me realise how technical driving a 911 fast is!!!

Thanks for the racing drivers insight to this corner Henry.

Didn't you end up in the gravel there at last years Festival? Or maybe it was your co driver, can't remember.

Hopefully no such poblems this year - assuming you are racing.

This will be a rare oportunity to drive a fantastic circuit with open pit lane and not many cars attending. It rarely happens at Brands so I really would reccomend that you give it a go. Brands GP has almost everything and is a true drivers circuit. I instructed there for a while and know it inside out. I will be there on the day so if anybody would like a few tips, just come and find me in the pit lane.

Full circuit is one of the best I've done, about 10 times better than the go-kart like short track.

I did the Easytrack day earlier this year and it was great, although it was sessions which I personally hate.

My wife is due to give birth the day before, so it's unlikely I'll be able to do it, unless she manages to push it out a week early or more.

My partner in crime for the day !!

Hopefully we`ll have a good weekend although we do have a slight disadvantage as the car is set up for our endurance racing and the gearbox ratios are about 25% higher. Far too much hassle to change for the weekend as we`re doing the 24hour race at Silverston two weeks later so it`s a bit of a shakedown for that.

Did the evening bash - first session aquaplaning at the end of Hangar straight was buttock clenching. Whole circuit slippery as an Insurance Salesman.

Soon most of it dried out and a good time was had by all (apart from the few that seemed to like the pit wall).
