Sheet metal needed to make up dash section around radio

I'm going to make up a new dash surround for the radio section as I have one or two extra buttons & switches that can't be accommodated on my current dash.

My aim is to get hold of some sheet metal (either aluminium or mild steel) cut it to shape and then perhaps take it along to London Carriage Craft to get it veneered. The problem is I've not been able to find any metal suppliers that can supply suitable sheets i.e they are either too thick or want to supply enough for me to make my own panels up for the entire car !.

Has anyone got any suggestions as to where I can get hold of suitable sheets in sensible quantities ?

Look in yellow pages under sheet metal. Find a local fabrication works. For small bits of sheet metal they'll usually sort you out for beer money.

Depends what sort of size you're after, but for small pieces you coul try your local B&Q.

E-mail me what you want ie gauge and overall sizes and what material you would like steel, ally or stainless steel as long as it is not to big I will post you some
