Spam calls being spoofed from similar mobile number

Annoyingly I'm getting quite a lot of these for some reason; the number that comes up is 80% the same as my mobile no. but with the last couple of digits different. I'm not answering them but they are starting to really irritate.

Blocking the numbers won't work as they'll only use the number a couple of times before spoofing a new version. I'm guessing there's unfortunately little that can be done to stop this?

Install truecaller.

Set a "Block numbers that begin with" and put as close a match as you can. I would set it to "mute", to waste as much of their time\bandwidth as possible.

Unless you have real contacts with almost-identical numbers, that should work.
