ITV - 20 minutes in and still no racing. I attend the Revival every year and there's hardly time to have a slash and get a burger before the next race. Are the organisers pandering to the Mammon of TV ?

I can't watch these programmes for that reason. Too much 'look at me' presenting and irrelevant fluff, followed by a few minutes of badly-shot on-track action.

I can understand it at the Revival. They like to depict the whole experience with items on the fashion, the hairstylist, the funfair etc., but the MM is only racing. Why not show it?

PS that female commentator was talking about how the drivers had to change steering wheels at the pitstops for the Lotus Cortina race. WTAF!!!

Mk 1 Jim Clark Lotus Cortina race was fab. Some proper drift overtaking.

Driven that track a few times. One of me' faves.

One of mine too. I once shared a car with a chap called Nick Mason, I wonder what became of him.

There's been sea fog here all day (west Wales), perfect weather to watch the MM biggrin

I watched the whole event on Youtube. I thought the coverage was good with only small fill-ins between races. That last race was interesting particularly the over cooking it on the final bend!!
Nice to see some "proper" driving with drifting and dodgy overtakes!!

I hope the marshal was OK after the righted-Golf caught him. He was a bit silly with his leg position. There was an ambulance driving away in the background.

I've done the BMW driving experience at Goodwood a couple of times and would quite like to do the classic car one but a friend told me that they knew someone that did and that the cars are dual control and the instructor kept jabbing the brakes to keep the speed down, is that true?

Just do a track day there in your own car. Doesn't matter what you drive, you'll love it, and learn a lot :0)
