Oh my GOD.............

My impression after our first drive.......Oh my GOD I know you've all heard the story before but I can't get over the acceleration of the car. I have just come back from driving a Viper at Skip Barber School and I can't get over how much faster the GTR feels! I don't know how fast we were going but I'm sure we passed up the Starship Enterprise! After 15 minutes of low speed warming followed by 15 minutes of high performance driving while Mike was tuning the EFI, I decided it was only fair to let Mike have a drive.....after all, he's the guy who built it....I just pay the bills. It was only then that I realized I had only gotten the accelerator about three quarters down! Oh my God is it fast! This is going to take some time for me to catch up too. What a blast. We had only a couple of minor issues including the speedo being inop. I can't wait for the weekend and a chance to get out on the road again......

My BMW Z3 M coupe S54 with about 350hp does about 0-100 in 11sec...you could imagine how that must feel in half that time...5,5sec...

Hi Brad,great news about car know what you mean about the acceleration it still is a great buzz to find a bit of clear road and give it everything ,still scares the shit out of me !!!! took a friend out a couple of weeks ago gave it a bit of stick had him squealing like a girl !!

Congratulations Brad - you are making those of us that are still building very anxious to get on with it.

I was very impressed seeing your car at last years gathering; the workmanship was truly exemplary, as expected from an aircraft fabricator like Mike.

I hope to see it at the next (2006) gathering.
