Carly App auto renew - with no notice?

Anyone else use Carly? Had a surprise when my credit card bill landed and they had auto renewed. Being used to insurance co's doing that you always get notified that a renewal is coming in case you don't want it but seems Carly don't. Feels like rather sharp practice.

When they did this to me, i complained on the basis that it was unfair that as a new customer a years subscription would have been significantly cheaper.

They refunded me £20 and reminded me they didn't have to...

Yes, I see they have offered to give me a 20% refund but will only give it if I write them a positive review !? I mean, honestly, what kind of a racket is this?

Thread revival. Really pissed off with this Carly lot - I got caught out by the auto renew thing having used the frankly rubbish Carly about twice and stuck it in the glovebox then forgotten about it. Just been charged £135 for a years subscription on auto renewal. Complained but they waffled about their terms and conditions. They are an absolute scam.
