We live in a society where we give away money to the unemployed without expecting any return and yet make those training to contribute to society better through education borrow money and pay interest? Also we make those who enjoy success through careful investment of their wealth pay income tax twice?

:scratchchin: Maybe it’s time for a re-think on how we re-distribute wealth.

Amen, brother. I'm what's called a "Meritocrat" politically. Contrary to what people believe this doesn't mean screw-the-poor and no-taxes. One of the things it does mean is as much free education as you can handle - i.e. whilst you continue to pass the tests showing you are benefitting from it. It also means no-work-no-money - although I've not met a "pure" meritocrat yet who actually didn't want it "toned down a bit"...
