webcam security monitoring system

[Viper]

any recommendations for one of those camera system which you can link to the web for monitoring elsewhere ?

We use this system to remotely monitor our premises.

www.rfconcepts.co.uk/video_web_server.htm

We don't have a computer on each site so we just connect the cctv into the video web server, then the web server into a router like this one

www.shopmagenta.com/product/p660h.aspx?advert=6

and then plug the router into the broadband line and it all seems to work o.k. Takes a bit of setting up with a laptop but I managed it and I'm a computer moron!

BTW We have a dynamic IP but once the system was set up we got a static address for free from www.dyndns.com
(it's actually called a "dynamic address" on the site but it's static... I don't know why)
