Car deposit

Have car values dropped since this time last year. I bought a 2018 Audi A6 avant with a 5 k deposit and the rest on finance. I bought it for 28500 which was judged fair by ATrader time. I wasn’t expecting to get all that deposit back if I traded in but based on current px I’d be lucky to get 1.5 k.
Should I sit tight?

I know I don’t have a crystal ball, but I can only see prices dropping back towards pre-pandemic levels now that the shortages are resolving themselves.
