Stupid one this, but I'm in London (i.e. not at home) so I don't have my manual with me:

Is the service interval for my 99 Chimaera 400 6 months/6,000 miles? I ask because I've now had it 6 months but I haven't received a service reminder from the dealer (Christopher Neil). I've done less than 3,000 miles in it so am wondering if I still have to have the service done? (In the past I've serviced all my cars myself but obviously want to keep the history with the Chimaera so it's a lot more expensive and I only want to do it when I'm supposed to rather than much more frequently as I have done in the past).

Oh, and if I do need to have it serviced, does anyone know of any good Cheshire-based TVR specialists and what they would charge for a service at 22,000 miles?

Thanks.

12 months/6000 miles as I remember.

As I read the service manual, the recommendation is 6 mths or 6000 miles, whichever comes first, so yes it's due. Sorry I don't know about Cheshire servicing, but I'm sure someone on here will!

Matt: You've just made my day! I really didn't want to fork out for a service this month.

Thanks for your help (applies to you to Caro!)

Lee.
