If they are going to go this slow, I think they should have shown how to disconnect the battery.
Quite a good solution to the horn problem. I'd have been tempted to use the existing wire as a mouse to drag the new wire down the column.
I don't think we'll be seeing the stripdown and rebuild of a BMW VANOS unit

.I'm reserving judgement until I've seen more. It looked like it was going to be a succession of mostly rich folk (anyone else out there wear white overalls ?) with trivial faults, wanting to show off their cars. However, I'm no expert and can see that I can probably learn a few things. Anything that can keep the classic car movement alive is probably a good thing, although more interest may see prices for some cars getting even dafter than they already are
It was so interesting I fell asleep.
Don't think I'll bother with any more.
Bloke with the Cobra was a knob. It's a loose wire, fix it mate. The sisters with the Morgan, let's be simplistic because you're women, look, here are the fuses, now let's check the gauge, it might be the sender unit, yes! It's buggered, you'll need a new one.
Riveting stuff.

Riveting is in next week's episode to fix a loose clip 😉Don't think I'll bother with any more.

I'm currently in Spain, with limited internet, so thought I'd check the opinions on here, to see if it was worth the effort, on catch up.
As the reviews seemed mixed, I decided to give it a go......just reached end of part 1, and that's enough for me.
Much ado about nothing springs to mind.

Thank heaven for the FF button. Series Link cancelled.
That said, to be fair, it is a good programme for those who want to do a few jobs but have no idea how, it's just most of us on here have more than an inkling about car maintenance. Like a basic "Gardeners World" showing you how to plant a bulb.
Liked the Fiat, he'd spent £32K!! but had no idea about fixing a door mirror? Nah.
And the two girls with the Moggy, looked like something from a Panto but with enough spare cash not to worry about cost of repairs.

Hello, I'm a researcher for a new tv show about classic cars. We'd love to feature you and your car on the programme. We can't actually pay you, but you need to be happy to be portrayed as a fThat said, to be fair, it is a good programme for those who want to do a few jobs but have no idea how, it's just most of us on here have more than an inkling about car maintenance. Harmless enough fare, I’ll see how the series develops, it’s not as bad as some are making out, for reference I mean goblin bad!
Yes - that's why I thought it was OK. Easy going with some nice cars. The Cobra might not have been "real, real" (did they ever say what it was?) but it was tasty.Gassing Station | TV, Film, Streaming & Radio | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
