Try the solicitor who dealt with the sale (assuming you bought).

If let try the letting agent.

Try the estate agent who sold the house.

Stating the obvious here but have you Facebooked or googled the name? Do the neighbours have a contact number for them or know where they worked? Could go a bit "taken" but who knows smile

With everyone being so cautious of GDPR, I would say the chances of getting business, such as a solicitor to tell you the person’s new address is pretty slim. The best you might get is for them to forward a message on.

Start with facebook, then try linkdln and possibly instagram. I normally start with social media, then 192.com, people can be found, just depends on age really how quickly it takes.

Would bin it now , delete this post, move house, as you have opened mail not for yourself, so likely a 2 year prison sentance these days.

You're the owner/occupier - pay it into your bank, if you use an app or a machine in branch etc, no one checks the name.

That's what I meant by speaking to the solicitor or letting agent. As you say I doubt they would give out a contact address.

There is a "reasonable excuse" clause in the law.

I would find them on facebook, invite them round and make them stand flat against a lightly-coloured wall. Then use a Fine pencil, or maybe even a felt tip if you are happy to repaint the wall. Go around a couple of times to ensure all the outline is marked, while ensuring they are comfortable.
