Alloy dash...

Hi everyone,

have found a possible Chim that i like the look of , it does however have an alloy dash , which i'm not that mad on and would want to change it for a nice wooden job, how easy/expensive is this to do if i were to get a specialist to do it..thanks

has anyone done this?? anyone fancy a nice alloy dash for their chim??

I have a prepared rectangular piece of figured ash (honey colour with interesting grain) veneer on ally backing (like TVR make them). I was going to replace my ally dash with it but stopped when everybody said how much they liked it!

And if it's not the finish Mark S is after then I'll be interested if it's the one I want (if that makes sense).
