I've got one or two Marriott points to spend on a weekend away, preferably with a spa and in a nice location with decent restaurants.

Where would you go, either within 3 hours drive of Heathrow, or, under 90 minutes flight from Heathrow?

JW Marriott Venice. On its own island in the lagoon, first rate restaurant onsite (fiola at dopolovaro), decent spa. Points rates aren’t that bad either.
