Linn Kairn repair - UK Electronic Partners Services

I've got an old Linn Kairn which I dug out of the loft the other week and plugging it in - it's power light comes on but that's all.
I've tried calling Linn to get a quote for repair but their phone goes to voicemail and nobody calls back.
The next name that Google brings up when searching Linn repairs is UK Electronic Partners Services. They picked the phone up and seem to be well organised in quoting for the repair but they seem like a general electronics repairer and I was wondering if anyone has any experience of them or other suggestions as to where to send it?
I'm in the NW and would prefer to drop it in somewhere but UKEPS are Telford and Linn, Glasgow but Linn aren't even returning enquiry calls.
